ReplyDeletethank you :)
ReplyDeletegorgeous! the color looks so cool. and plus, you have such beautiful hair!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing! Came across this picture while googling pics of asian balayage. I have asian hair too, and balayaged it abut 5 months ago. It cost a fortune cos my hair is so dark and thick!
ReplyDeleteDid you balayage it yourself?? If so how did you go about it, looks pro!
hey nancy!
ReplyDeletethank you!
and yes i did do it myself. :)
I am a professional hairstylist for Chaz Dean Studio and for the product line WEN by Chaz Dean. www.chazdean.com :)
I've love this! I want to have my hair dyed like this. I've been so tempted to dye my hair lately but I want my natural hair color too an this seems like a good compromise! :D
ReplyDeletehi i have a Q... so did you have your hair dyed before you did it... and you applied the highlight technique that llymlr taught or it was your natural color??? im thinking of doing it but i already have dyed my hair before sooooo im a little scared!
ReplyDeleteMy hair was previously colored and I added more light pieces with the balayage technique. I am a professional hairstylist and you should seek one out. :) If you are ever in LA come find me! :)
ReplyDeleteI suggest not doing it yourself as you can damage your hair! Please seek out a professional, we have more knowledge about the proper products and techniques to use.
I'm a hairstylist too and I found your photo searching for pictures of "ombré" to show to a friend. You did SUCH great work on yourself. It looks fantastic. I am having a lot of fun using the balayage/ombré techniques on clients. It's like an art project!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much chriso! I actually went a little deeper since this post, ha! Then the other day I ended up adding a few more lighter pieces to the ends. The love of being a colorist.hairstylist.

I am a stylist also, and want to do this to my hair. My hair is highlighted but has about an inch of new growth. How would you suggest I go about darkening the top without creating a massive line of demarkation?
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI love your hair! it's amazing! Do you know of any hairstylists in Portugal who can do this???? Doesn't hurt to ask...
Ah I love it! Where do you work, still at Chaz's place? Would love to have you do my hair.
ReplyDeleteYes I'm there! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're ombré turned out fantastic! If you'd like to view what mine turned out like please click my link, I did ombré with my dyed red hair!! Thanks xxx

ReplyDeleteIts so long and bouncy, I've been trying to grow my hair out for som time now.. Any tips on getting my hiar as long and healthy looking like yours?!
I'm so jealous!
Do you do any side work outside of the salon? I would LOVE to make an apt if you do!
ReplyDeleteI love your hair. It is gorgeous! How do you take care of your ends? Ombre completely fried my ends, and I don't want to cut a lot off, as it took me so long to grow it.
ReplyDeleteI love it! i'm gonna use this photo to show to my hairdresser. "I want my hair like that!" :)
ReplyDeleteI love your haircut.. could you send me a pic where i could see it more defined? would be great!
ReplyDeleteI want to get this ombre look at a salon. How much do you think it would cost??
