The Chop.
yay! i got my hair cut!
i was thinking something like this, but maggie and jesse talked me out of it.
so i told chaz he could cut it however he wanted. :)
and i love it! it looks so amazing and my head feels so light now. it really shows more of my natural hair color without losing too much of the ombre effect! thank you chaz!

hello, my name is mookie!
We have a new member of the family and his name is Mookie! He was a present for our 2nd wedding anniversary.
Also you might notice my hair... check it out! it's a dusty pink ombre! how rad is that? I did it a few nights ago. The last Thakoon runway show, charlotte free and this cute little asian girl from Singapore inspired me to add the pink. I didn't want it as intense and I really wanted it to work well with my ombre. I started with "party time pink" mixed in some 613 cleanser to dilute it to make a nice muted organic pink(with the added benefit of being a conditioning treatment - win win). I think it turned out awesome!
Most of the pictures we have of him look like this. He really likes(to eat) the camera.
not sure what's going on here, but you can see he gets along with cooper(kinda).

hair monsters.
Uuuuuum how awesome are these shoes. I found them in NYC at the urbn on 5th avenue. When I saw the $29.99 price tag I was like "for real" because there was another tag that said $315. So I asked the lady "is this for real" pointing at the shoes and she was like "yea I know right?" so yes big freaking score on these babies. Ann Demeulemeester I will have yours one day, but for now this will do!!
Did rebecca's hair today! And she ended up booking a last minute Wen by Chaz dean show tonight! Yeeeea! They'll be on sometime around 10pm-12am pacific on qvc!
we also had dinner at izakaya fu-ga so yums!

My baby's back home...
... but not for long! More Wen shows next week!

June gloom and so windy!

And right when Anna got off work.. sunshine! That's no coincidence.

Hey all - Anna here!
Quick tip to achieve the hair in the pix above:
My hair is normally super straight and the way I achieve this beachy tousled look is:
1. Cleanse my hair with Wen before bed. (check out the new sixthirteen cleanser it's amazeballs)
2. Rinse out cleanser, squeeze excess water out.
3. Add quarter size(less if its short hair) of cleanser back into hair as a leave-in working from midshaft to ends, squeezing and twisting it in to the hair. Whatever is remaining is raked all over hair but not on to scalp.
4. Add quarter size(less if its short hair) of Wen Styling Creme working from midshaft to ends, squeezing and twisting it in to the hair. Whatever is remaining is raked thru hair but not on to scalp.
5. Squeeze out all excess water again.
6. Put your head upside down, twist hair into a bun on the top of the head.
7. Tie up with a scrunchy and sleep with it on!
8. Next morning, take it down after shower and after doing makeup.
9. If your hair is really long/thick it might still be a little damp... DO NOT TOUCH IT!! let it air dry so the shape you created with the twisted bun has a chance to form properly.
10. Once dry you can leave it the way it is, or if you want more defined pieces use a little paste to define and mold your beachy waves using your fingertips and twisting.
It's very simple and very quick and most of all it's not damaging to your hair! Love it!
